Been asking them for ages if I buy tomtom mobile 5 NOW for Sony P910I will it be a FREE UPGRADE when the P990i comes out in about 3 months.
Obviously I dont want to buy if there is no FREE UPGRADE.
Has anyone ever got a reply from them.
Does anyone know where I can get the official tomtom stance on this.
ps is there anyother mobile software youd recommend as good as tomtom with a customer support team that reply.
Thanks |

What you need is not a FREE UPGRADE but a secondary activation (which is possible after 7 days, and then each half year). _________________ Lutz

The P990 hits UK in 3 months.
If I shell out now for Mobile 5 I dont really want to wait 3 months off not being able to use it while waiting for activation.
The other point is why dont tomtom support answer and give a definitive answer either way.
Small print and I mean small on their website indicates they can withdraw FREE upgrades and all offers at any time.
Do you think thats why they dont answer direct question like if I buy this NOW will you upgrade this when available.
Just curious has anyone ever got any replies from tomtom...HOW ?? |

Replies from TomTom can take upto a 6 weeks,
I know this from experience,
And this was a major question about how to get TTM5 working on my phone,
