Am I right in thinking that if you come across a new camera you just hit the quickam button on your TT.
How do you delete cameras that are no longer there
and how do you upload new info to pocketgpsworld |

yeah just hit the button and it puts in into a folder on your tomtom called my cameras,
this file is in the same place as the other camera folders,
to send this file in i think copy it and attach it to an email which you should send into this site. ps dont forget to put na description of what camera it is e.g specs, mobile |

i have one by me,
i thought about going past hit and hitting the add cam,
so i only had that one in my cam folder,
then emailing that to this site saying its no longer there, and letting this site remove it
sure there is a quicker way, but i dont know how |

Found a way of deleting from another member andyP
Change preferences / manage POI / Delete POI / Select the POI category ( it will be My cameras or new cameras or similar)
Then select the POI, which I think will be at the top of the list because it sorts them in order of distance from your present location and then tap Yes to confirm the delete.
If you want to double check before you delete it, you can exit everything, go to Browse map / tap the arrow at top right or left of the screen (above the zoom bar) to centre the map on your house, then tap on the camera icon itself (you may need to zoom in and have a few gos to grab it) and a bpop up box should show the name of the camera. Remember that name and then go through the steps I started with above.
All the above assume you are at home when you do it! |

I may not have explained very clearly....
Tapping on the camera icon will just give the pop-up window with the camera number. Then when you go to the "delete POI" pages you can be sure you are deleting the right one. There's no way to actually delete from the map page. |
