How to back up SD card???

I have read that I should make a back up of my Navigator 5 card incase it gets lost/damaged etc. I have bought a larger memory card to do this but don't actually know how to go about it as I am a novice with these things.
It is being used on ipaq hp2190.

A step by step guide would be appreciated if anyone can help.

By far the easisest method is to use a card reader on your PC to copy the card's contents to a folder. Then copy the contents to the new card. Keep a copy of the card on your PC and you have your backup
