Appologies if there is another tread with this info in, but I don't have time to review all 6700 treads with a reference to 'postcode missing'!
Has anyone else come across postcodes that are missing within TTN5 with GB+ maps?
Recently I tried to visit the following postcodes which are not within the database. Using the Navigate to>> Postcode Option (i.e. full 7 char postcodes).
Anyone else found any others?
GU21 5BJ - Woking
ST14 8LX - Staffordshire
Infact all of ST14 - Staffordshire
DY90UB - West Midlands
RG170DY - Hungerford
WA3 7QZ - Warrington
TA1 4DY - Taunton
HP136EQ - High Wycombe
In Fact all of HP13
However the roads are all on the maps and the 5 character postcodes are displayed along side when selecting via the roads - Bring back Niels solution!
Could someone please try these examples and add any others that they feel are missing.
Cheers

Ian, I've just checked the codes you listed and everyone of them are identified on my version? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Watford was recoded relatively recently - WD1 and WD2 became WD1x and WD2x.
For example, my old address is now WD17 4YW; I can't find the old postcode offhand, but a web search indicates WD1 3XD was in the same street.
I don't have my PDA to hand, but I seem to recall I had to use the old postcodes to find my house (still in Watford, but I'm not terribly keen to randomly put my address on the web :-) ) |

There are no WD1 or WD2's on my TT5 just WD1* and WD2*, also refering back to the first post in this Thread all the Post Codes listed are on my PDA. |

Thanks guys for checking, I think I'll try a re-install of the postcodes file and take it from there, as they are certainly NOT on my PDA.
Thanks Again..

They all show on my version 5.10 (The last 3 are un-named roads but they are clearly located on the map

Thanks chaps - A bit more investigation showed that my Postcode file in the \zip folder had got trunkated to 1.5mb instead of the 8.5meg it should be, simple re-install of postcode file and I'm fully postcoded up again.
Cheers Again. |
