|
|
Whilst driving round the M25, Jane seemed to think I was a few hundred yards to the side of the motorway. The Go kept trying to lock on to various side roads and navigate me back to the M25 and the planned route.
I'm now back home, but Jane still thinks we are stopped a couple of streets away
Has anyone else seen this? Its never happened before. Any suggestions for a fix, please? _________________ Doc_Croc |

Simple - drive along in the fields on the other side of the motorway, then Jane will be happy.
Sorry, couldn't resist! :D
Seriously, have you got an external aerial, I get this occasionally, and various forum posts seem to suggest that it happens more without one. |

Thanks for the advice Andy_P2002
I don't have an external aerial. Didn't think I needed one until today. _________________ Doc_Croc |

I had this along the M5 once. All I did was a turn off/on and everything was A-OK again. |

I'd try it again before buying the antenna it may have just needed resetting.
What car do you drive? it could be the windscreen.
Just check the number of sats you have next time it happens......
Hope this helps. _________________ Thanks,

Thanks to all for the advice.
I have a heated screen - but this hasn't been a problem before. Jane seemed better today, although she did seem to take a long time to regain a signal after losing it.
Out of interest, what is the effect of resetting the Go. Will it remove favourites or POIs that I've added? _________________ Doc_Croc |

Reseting will not affect your favorites or POI's.
