|
|
Does anyone know where I can get an external antenna for the Tom Tom Go classic? I've tried dozens of online sources both in UK and USA and can find no one with it in stock. I emailed Tom Tom and they were of no help at all, just gave me a couple of links (the first two that come up on google,I think). |

Thanks for the link. They apparently have 2 in stock, but it would cost £ 33.50 to deliver to the USA! |

Hi
Just a personel opinion, For the large amount of money that we pay out for the privilege of owninging a brilliant but highly overpriced bit of kit, I think that an External Antenna, which cost pennies to make should be included in the TomTom package. Also Free map updates in the first year of purchase.
Have you worked out the depreciation of a TomTom once they bring out a new model. which will be every year if not sooner. Get a taxi its cheaper and they dont get lost. |

I completely agree. Moreover, to not even be able to supply an external antenna a few months after marketing the Go is a sure way to concede the market to Garmin and Magellan. The last two people I talked to here in the USA said that they did not get the Tom Tom exactly because Tom Tom will not support its products more than a few months before abandoning it. |
