|
|
I have an ongoing issue, I don't have any power going to my cigarette socket because the previous owner removed it to stop anyone from smoking in the car.
Now I am looking for a easy way to get around this, I was looking for some type of adapter that connects to your battery from which you can then position somewhere in the cockpit of the car.
anyone know who stocks something for the job. |

Alternatively, if the socket was only removed (ie no damage done) the parts department of you cars main dealer should be able to provide exactly what was removed thus ensuring a correct match.
Previous owner seems like a bit of a moron - taking sockets out of cars is a bit stupid when all you have to do is remove the lighter bit! You can even get blank pull out plugs - and after all - has anyone ever met a smoker who doesn't carry an alternative method of lighting up! |

.
Indeed, but this moron kept the car in pristine condition so it was good enough for me, just didnt think I'd end up with sat nav and have need for it.
I'll have an auto electrician take a look. |

If he was that particular - he was probably the type who would have carefully disconnected the connectors and wrapped them up in insulation tape - so hopefully an easy job - that is unless he has carefully removed and capped them! |
