Is Viewsonic V37 a clone of something?

Hi all,
I'm trying to work out if the Viewsonic V37 is a clone of some other device?
My aim is to get rs232/serial gps device working into it, which the comparison chart says it does support, except I have no idea how?
I suspect i need a cable of some sort?

Hi Steve,

Viewsonic have always previously had a close working relationship with Mitac so I would hazard a guess that a Mitac Mio connection cable would be the best choice.
