Streets and Trips and using BT-338

I need help in getting a Axim x50v to work with streets and trips and a BT-338. Can anyone tell me how to get the GPS set up in streets and trips? The unit will be find a GPS device in streets and trips. I have tried all the ports and it will not show up. The unit is working as I can see the information when running the GPS software for the BT-338.
