Strange white sreen quick on TT5 (help requested)

On the main TT5 map screen, there are 3 panels:-

1. Map (top half)
2. Directions (bottom left)
3. Info bar (bottom right)

When you press one of the panels it momentary turns a gauzed white colour to show that you've selected it.

The problem is that the most recent panel that've I've selected turns gauzed white for a no apparent reason. If I select it again, it goes back to the normal colour but after about 20 secs or so it turns back to the gauzed white.

I've tried a factory reset but it's still happening.

Any ideas?
