ActiveSynch wants to access an address from my address book!

When placing my PDA into its holder, ActiveSynch has an unresolved item and asks if Iwant to resolve it.
When I say 'Yes' a dialogue box pops up and asks approval to access an email address from my adress book.

I see no reason why it would want such an address so I have always said 'No'.

When I say no, outlook express crashes.

Any ideas why ActiveSynch needs an email address?

Sounds all very dodgy to me.

Your ActiveSync profile includes synchronization of contacts. You have changed one of the contacts on both the PC and the Pocket PC, so ActiveSync needs to resolve that conflict. Did you indicate to overwrite the PC contact with the one from the Pocket PC?

As far as I know (may be wrong here) Outlook Express doesn't work with ActiveSync - you must have Outlook installed as well...
