Am I correct in assuming that I should see the callers ID on my 700 when someone (that is stored in my phone) calls?
I just get "incoming call"
Anyone enlighten me? _________________ If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice ! |

Only if you have stored your contacts in the GO.
Some phones allow importing your phonebook, but most don't.
So you should create it manually if you really want it.
Just create a file called 'contacts.txt' with this structure:
"Contact1","+31612345678"
"Contact2","+31612345678"
"Contact3","+31612345678" |

I have sent my contacts from my sony ericsson K700i and these arn't recognized. I then re-made the text contacts file with all the numbers I wanted in the format you suggested - again all I get is "incoming call" ? _________________ If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice ! |

I have just bought a TomTom Go 500 and paired it with my K700i. I do not get a called id for incoming calls either. I tried pairing it with my wife's Nokia 6310 and caller id works fine!
My K700i has the latest SE firmware from the SE site.
Any other ideas? |
