TTM5 KEEPS CRASHING ON SPV C500

ater upgrading to ttm5 on my spv c500 i've noticed that it keeps crashing!!! Crying or Very sad

it'll happen at random intervals and multiple times, i can be navigating or looking up an address and it'll freeze or throw me out altogether.

when this happens the phone is unusable and i have to remove the battery to restart and if i use ttm5 again it'll probably crash again. Crying or Very sad

the phone only crashes when using ttm5 never at any other time and to try to sort it i've formated the sd card and reinstalled ttm5 fresh, this helped but only for a few days before it started crashing again. Crying or Very sad

the older ttm work fine and i'm using this untill i can sort this out, any thoughts?

Did u get a new mini sd card. I had exactly this problem with Tom Tom 4 when i upgraded my card. After checking things out i found that the card from Tom Tom has a read write rate of 10mb sec, the card i purchased had a read write rate of 6mb sec, so i ordered a kngston mini sd card which has a read write of 10mb sec, and the program has never crashed since.

yeah i bought a new 512mb sd card when i upgraded, so you might be on to something here. i'll try and find out the access speed of it, thanks for the info.
