Well, I am sadly dissapointed with Traffic, today I tried to use it and all it kept saying was my account had expired, contact TomTom.com for information. In properties it clearly states expirey Jan 2006. Has anyone else had this problem?
Also while I am having a moan, has anyone else got the problem of after using Traffic, and shutting down Navigator, the GPS programme is still running? Is there a fix for this?
Regards,
Steve |

Likewise - exactly the same problem with account expiry on the way home today (was working this morning). Now I also find that www.tomtom.com is offline. Would be good to know what is going on.

Yep, your right - no point trying to report it as a fault then.......
Traffic is working for me connected via activesync to my PC. That is very useful!!

TomTom are commissioning a lot of new servers and sometimes the account details get out of sync between them. The solution is to go to TomTom's website and login, goto the Plus Section and change the password on your profile. This will force a synchronisation of your password details across the servers.
Once you've done that, use the option in Traffic to reset the device that Traffic is to be used on then try accessing it again. _________________ Darren Griffin

Had a similar problem with traffic. Could't connect to site. Tried entering username and password told me I had an account gave an error number then disconnected. Your solution worked a treat thank you. |
