Firstly if this has been answered already I will apologise, but I could not find the answer so I have posted from a fresh !
I have a TOM TOM GO 300. When I first started using the wonderful safety camera database available from this site, the warning icons used to use graphics such as a circular 30 when a fixed camera in a 30 mph limit was coming into view.
However I have noticed that over the last 6 months I get the standard garphics of a black camera even though - when looking on the screen - it changes back to said circular graphic after I have passed it.
The strange thing is my father, who is also an avid user of these database on the same equipment as mine ( albeit slightly newer ) does get the graphics I am after.
FYI I am running on version5.202 as I also run the POI capture software.

Mank thanks to anyone who replies - Brent

You have to download the 23 data and 23 .bmp files, you may have downloaded one of the other choices. :D

Thanks for the reply.

I have checked the loaded .bmp files in mt TOM TOM and found both the standard camera graphic and circular ones too.

Should I therefore delete the standard one ?

I found the same when the system changed slightly. I deleted all the PGPSW Safety Camera .ov2 and .bmp files then copied and pasted the new ones. Once they are in all you have to do in future is copy and paste the .ov2 files, unless any new camera types appear, in which case the .bmp for that will have to be copied over.

If you leave the old ones you could end up getting a double warning.

I dont think I am getting a double warning, it just that when you view a camera " zoomed out ", so to speak on the TOMTOM, it shows a circular graphic with the speed of the camers. However when you are virtually on top the only grpahic that comes up is the standard black one showing the speed camera sign.

Help ????

What I would sugest you do is search the map folder for all the .ov2 files that start with pocketgpsworld, and all the .bmp files that start with pocketgpsworld, once they are all located (in the map folder) delete them, then re-load the latest Speed Camera database from the site to the map folder on the card, this will make sure you only have the exact files you need and eliminate the double warnings you appear to be getting - Mike
