Should I TomTom Navigator 2 for US with the GPS unit our shall I buy only the software and buy a diffrent GPS unit? What is the best thing to do?

The GPS unit that comes with the package is actually quite good. If you want to have a hassle-free setup then I would recommend going for the bundle. If you are planning to use any kind of Bluetooth GPS solution then you may want to consider just getting the software.

It works fine with hand held GPS units such as the Garmin or Magellans so if you do any hiking then it may be worth while thinking about one of those. You will need one that has a port for connection to a PC or PDA (most of them).
