Has anyone got problems with the GH-101 mount, mine takes an age to get a fix. Sometimes upto 15 minutes. I don't know if it is the mount or the upgrade to TTN5 (i bought the mount and upgraded to TTN5 at he same time).
If i plug the mount in and power up for 5 minutes or so and then plug my hp2210 in its ok. Occasionally it loses its way on the road even though i have 4 -5 bar signal strength. the pointer is the middle of nowhere and then the road appears and it's back on track.
I don't know if it is the mount or the software.
Has anyone any thoughts.
Thanks

What settings are you using in the TomTom software?

Hi sean,
My setting in Tomtom5 are Other Cable NMEA GPS, Baud rate 4800.
i believe it to be the software rather than the mount, because the screen seems to occasionally lose roads then finds them again yet the Satellite signal stays around 4 bars. I used to have TTN3 and a wired Tomtom Gps and didn't have a problem waiting for a signal to be found.
The mount is has close to the windscreen as possible. (Not heated)
Thanks
Mark

try leaveing the everything pluggd in and move the mount out of the car still plugged in and see if the signal changes if it gets better then you have an athermic wind screen
