I am about to take a motor trip to the Chech republic my quandry is whether to buy a MIO 269 which comes with European maps, or buy tom tom maps of western europe for my HP 2110/ tom tom v3 OR to rely soley on the "main roads of Europe" supplied with tom tom v3.
can anyone offer advice both on the merits of each setup ? I might add that I have a prospective buyer for my HP 2110/tom tom 3

TomTom 3 has NO coverage of Czech republic. You need to upgrade to TomTom 5 to get that. _________________ Lutz

8) thanks for the reply lutz, perhaps you may be able to tell me if TT3 europe maps will be compatable with TT5? if they are not it may account for the low prices seen on ebay.

They are not compatible but ownership of a legal copy of TTN3 entitles you to an upgrade to TTN5 for 59 EUR.
If you see low prices on ebay then those are in most cases used-up versions (the owner has upgrade already), or plain illegal copies. _________________ Lutz
