Can anyone tell me if it is necessary to delete the old version files when
updating the monthly database ones.

How are you doing this (that might help the group make a better assessment).. ?

Are you copying them to an SD card, or via Nokia suite and BT etc?

I am placing the files direct to my card in the reader via the PC.

All has worked well in the past, when I just loaded the latest files onto my card via the reader, but I was never sure that the latest ones were being used as I simply loaded them as per the instruction into Great Britain Maps.

This time for some unknown reason the alarms failed to go off (Oh dear)
so I reloaded the basic TT Prog onto a spare card from the PC ,copied the latest Camera Database into GB Maps and Bingo !!! it all worked.

I don't want to do that again each month.
