How do we contribute to the Safety Cam database with TTN5?

As TTN5 users are no longer using Checkpoint to record locations of new cameras, does anyone have any thoughts on how we can easily record new cameras whilst driving and contribute to this great database?

There is currently no 'easy' method of achieving this. To capture a new camera you need to add it as a POI, preferably to a new custom POI group you have created for the purpose. This involves a fair number of key presses so it's not advised to do this if you are driving.

Then at the end of each month send the resulting .ov2 file to cameras @ pocketgpsworld.com .

Once the SDK is released we hope to produce our own plug-in that will achieve all this in one or two clicks.
