Hi chaps,
I've been putting some downloads onto my TTG300 (cameras and spoken warnings for cameras)
I did a backup of the SD card onto PC, and put the cameras on SD. No probs. Last night I put the spoken warning on too, and again, no probs. I had the original data chk. file saved within my PC backup, and put the new downloaded renamed data chk. file onto the SD card. All works great.
However, being a bit of a div tonight fiddleling around with some stuff on the SD card, I decided to back it up again, overwriting with 'yes to all'
Am I right in thinking that I have the downloaded data chk. file now as my backup, and have lost the original? Is the original only for getting the cow sounds etc, or does it hold more info? I should have renamed it when I saved it, but didn't. If I had, can the 2 data.chk. files be on the SD card without probs, or do they have to be kept separate?
How do I get the original file back, and do I need it back?

Sorry it's a bit long winded.

Many thanks,
Matt

if you want it back, you could download v5.x firmware from the tomtom website & reinstall it

the file only contains the poi alerts (bells, whistles & animal sounds) Smile

Thanks for that. If I need them back, I'll give it a go.
