|
|
Hi folks,
I'm using Tom-Tom Mobile 4.
When I add destinations I have to enter the town, then enter the address. I have two issues with this:
1. Sometimes I just want to navigate to a town as I don't know an address in the town. Is it possible to do just this?
2. When you select a town, then you have to select the address. But the address doesn't seem filtered by the town that was entered. Why is this? It seems a bit odd...
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks |

If you enter the Town/City name in the street field-Eg.City=Exeter :Street=Exeter
This will then route you to the City center or town center of the City/Town _________________ Orange SPV C500|Tomtom Mobile 5 |Globalsat BT338|1GB Mini SD |

Hmmm, I don't see a street field specifically.
I get an option to enter the city (I have to enter something here, otherwise it wouldn't let me continue). Then I hit Select. Then it gives me the option to enter the street... aah! But you've kinda solved it for me, if I enter the city *again* then it shows up and I can route to the centre as you indicated.
I have another question as well, but I'll log this as a new post |

Mobile 5 has a separate option to pick just a city centre, maks it's a lot easier. I think other streets from other local towns and cities are also included in the street search. _________________ Nokia 6600 running TT Mobile 5.0 |
