Along with all the other posters asking this question.. NO!
It will be announced on their website, not this one.
I am not having a dig at anyone, but repeatiung the same question over and over is not getting us anywhere.
Also, if and I mean if, TomTom do the usual, the New release will only be made available to new PDA's not upgrades. I gut feeling is May 31st for new, June 27th for upgrade! _________________ iPhone5, TomTom, Google maps, Navfree, Viewranger and Apple Maps (ekk) |

Well, it was a catastrophic error.
I was using the tabby key when the fur flew..
I'll stop there as we are getting OT. _________________ iPhone5, TomTom, Google maps, Navfree, Viewranger and Apple Maps (ekk) |

I beleive that they are currently working on the final product testing before release.
This may have been delayed by Microsofts announcement of Windows Mobile 2005 due out this summer. Could TomTom be testing thier product with this to ensure compatability?
I would rather wait and have working software without bugs then the software being released and then having to patch afterwards. _________________ Please follow me on twitter @mdyson1968 |

Quite possibly you saw a switch over to a bigger server so they can cope with the demand when the product is released. |

Noticed a couple of interesting points on the TomTom site reference release of Navigator V5.
If you look on the map coverage for the UK it only shows Scotland, England and Wales, but not Ireland or Northern Ireland.
What you get in the box for both the BT and wired versions are:-
1. SD Card containing Navigator 5 software and map data of your Country or Region.
2. Serial or BT GPS receiver.
3. User manual on CD.
Looks like the Navigator 5 upgrade may well be supplied on a SD Card and not a CD. _________________ Graham.

I believe that is normal. Note it says "Great Britain" and not "United Kingdom" for that reason.

I doubt they would restrict it to just SD, what about PDA's that use CF? |
