Im seeing white spots

When I plan a route in TT3 the designated route appears as a red road with white spots all along it. At first I thought that the white spots were junctions that I was supposed to ignore but they are appearing in places with no road junction either on the road or the map.

Are these just caustion markers or something. I knwo it doesnt affect my use of TT, just would like to know and thought I could ask here

Hi ispartacus75,

The "white spots" are directional arrows along the route you have planned. These can be seen more clearly if you use the zoom button at the side of the screen when in navigator mode. When you zoom in the arrows can be clearly seen in deep red along the route.

You can of course turn it off in the preferences, but most people find it is more handy to have the correct road to take clearly highlighted especially at complicated junctions (like a double mini roundabout junction in Stroud where Tomtom cannot for the LIFE of itself get the timing of direction announcements right in the 20 odd feet between islands!)
