PDA GPS to PC output - possible?

Hi,

I have a Mio 168 with on-board GPS, and I need this to communicate live with a PC so that I can use large moving maps on the PC. Any ideas how I can do this please? I am using Oziexplorer, which works perfectly with a standalone GPS unit, but I've no idea what ports or if I should use activesync etc to get the live position data?

Try GPSGate - you might be able to set that to read the input from COM2 on the Mio and output it to COM1. Then connect the Mio to the serial port on the PC (not the USB port).

You might need a different cable in order to plug into the serial port on the PC though, from memory the Mio only has USB on the cable.
