Help TomTom not working

Hi To All
All was well early this evening, but after upgrading some more Poi's With the help of Poi edit it now seems that neither Tomtom or checkpoint will work.
I have tried to access just Tomtom- Will not work just seems that the round clock keeps on going around and round, Checkpoint on its own -will not work.
I have downloaded both applications back on to my PPC als done a sprite restore from early this morning but still will not work.
Is it worth uninstalling both items everything else seems to work.
System restore reported that there could be aproblem with a file ttgg something,but if I have installed this application again then surely this file should be OK.
Can someone help me?

it may help to temporarily remove the cfg file. See if that brings it back into life.
