I used to have an iPaq 390 with my TomTom Version 3.03 successfully working, I have now brought a new HP 4700 and when I go to install the software I get to messages:
1. Activation Failed.
2. Unknown Device Architecture.
I have downloaded version 3.07 and get the same messages, can anyone help.

I have a 4700 and have had no problems.
Have you done a complete install or copied the files from you old system?
As to the Activation, if this fails, you need to speak to TomTom. It is possible that th ecode needs to be reset at their end as you may have installed it too many times or installed it onto other systems.
I not you mentioned 3.03, try and download 3.07, it is slightly faster and a little (but not much) better for address lookups. _________________ iPhone5, TomTom, Google maps, Navfree, Viewranger and Apple Maps (ekk) |
