New Road Angel - GPS connection to a Mobile phone

Hi

I have a new Road Angel and working towards running some navigation SW on a Nokia mobile phone (6230). Only thing missing is the GPS input.

I can already get the system working using a borrowed standard Bluetooth GPS reciever with Bluetooth connection. Any ideas how I can use the Road Angel GPS output to connect a Bluetooth device or straight to the mobile.

What I really mean is are the cables/equipment available and where to plug in the Road Angel. The Road Angel manual seems to say nothing about the USB/Serial/Aux ports.

Any help would be appreciated

The only way you can connect the phone is via BT.

You can get a bluetooth adapter for your GPS:

As we have no direct Road Angel cable to the adapter, you need to get a serial cable from Blackspot, and G9BTA, connect them together and they will work.

If you know the Road Angel pin information, you can make up a cable yourself by referring to the pin information of the bluetooth adapter:
