Does version 5 allow specifying the desitination by lat/long

I've some friends that need driving directions to coordinates, so they are interested in Navigator 5 if they can do that. They are glider pilots and sometimes land in fields, but can usually phone or radio their landing coordinates to their crew.

No, that is no longer possible with version 5. If you need that then you need to stay with version 3.

That's right, his little tool is not working in TTN5, simply because there's no screen for that.

It may work with the SDK, but that's not out yet.

It could easily be made to work with the SDK, but I'm afraid I don't have $199 spare to spend on it - my kids come first.
So for now I'm faced with the same dilemma as you, I'm afraid.
