Hi, am I supposed to be able to browse the internet using pocket IE on my navman pin 300 when USB connected through ActiveSync to my broadband enabled computer?

Yes, on the ActiveSync menu Tools - Options - Rules, make sure that Pass Through = The Internet.

Now if you connect to the Internet in the usual way on your main pc, then when you tap on Internet Explorer on your Pocket PC it should work, you may need to enter a web page address in Pocket IE.
