Anyone else tried to contact easydevices.co.uk recently?
Sent an email to the Sales email address last night, asking about the Silvershield mount and whether it would work with a TomTom GPS, but have heard nothing back.
I know it's only £30, and probably the answer is a simple "no", but I'd have expected at least an auto-acknowledgement ...
Anyone else had trouble getting in touch?

Perhaps a bit early to look for a reply. I try to respond to emails reasonably quickly when we get them, but others don't. I've been trying to get a reply from Medion since the middle of January, for example.
Auto-responders are nice, but spammers then have a verified email address for their records. I won't enable one here. |

I should add that I mean generally, not specifically from easydevices. |

Yeah, you're probably right.
Although I'd heard such good things about them I assumed that they'd reply with 24 hours.
Still nothing BTW. Although www.gpsforless.co.uk replied to my question sent at about 2300 by 0400 - they can't sleep! Plus although they don't stock the part (my fault for having a Loox) they've given me some good suggestions on where to get one from. That's service!

Hi lostatsea.
Let me know what your email address is and I'll look into this personally.
I am a bit concerned that you have now posted twice about the same subject.
We do answer our emails promptly and I can assure you that even though we get hundreds of emails daily we will always reply to them in good time.

Well, after communication from EasyD2, it turns out that there *is* a problem with emails and some ISPs
It would seem that virgin.net are blocking easydevices email.
If it weren't for the pocketgps forum I'd never have found out ... |
