holux gr231 & orange spv c500

hi,
i have been trying to get my 500 and the 231 together on bluetooth but am having difficulties. the 500 says there is a connection but the 231 just slips into standby mode blinking vacantly every 3 seconds! i have also tried to find a gps viewer for the smartphone to check the signal, again to no avail.has anyone got any suggestions to sort this out???

Hi and

I think your phone and GPS are both working correctly! I have a GR-230 and SPV-C500 and it works like this:

Switch the GPS on, blue light blinks rapidly - several times a second
Start Mapopolis and the phone starts the BT connection to the GPS
The blue light on GPS stops blinking rapidly and blinks about once every 3 or 4 seconds
The orange light comes on solid at first and then starts blinking when it has a GPS fix.

Try downloading a demo of Mapopolis and some from http://www.mapopolis.com/ and see if it works!
