EMTAC BTGPSIII and Palm Bluetooth connection problem

Recently I purchased an EMTAC BTGPSIII GPS receiver and use it in combination with a Palm Tungsten T3 and TomTom v. 4.40 Navigation software and Bluetooth (BT). I am experiencing the same problems as discussed before when making a BT reconnection. To do so I have to switch off and on the GPS receiver before starting the TomTom navigator. This is an unhandy pocedure and does lead to uneccessary long GPS fix.
I expect that TT navigator or Palm is the source of the problem and therefore expect the same probblem with other BT GPS receivers.

Is there anybody having a solution for this problem?
