This is an email I got, from tomtom below, I had a ipaq 2210 with tomtom 2 on it, i then upgraded to version 3 as you do but found there was to many problems with it so i reinstalled version 2 on it, anyway to cut a long story short some toe rag stole it from a locker in a swimming pool, so I got another ipaq this time a Ipaq 6563 (Biggest mistake of my life) I then installed version 3 on that and had to inform tomtom so they could give me an activation code which they did a week later, I activated tomtom and used it for two days and found the new ipaq was faulty (no phone reception) so i sent it back, you guessed the supplier sent me a new one and I have to have it activated again, I have only activated tomtom twice not 3 times as tomtom state?. I have already sent them the returns form I got stating that they (the supplier of the ipaq) have renewed a faulty machine and tomtom sent me this email again which i have already done. I dont think I will bother as it looks like I will be sending this second ipaq back for a refund or get a Pda2k instead at least the phone works on that.
Rant over
ps I think I will sell tomtom anyway as its buggy as c..p

you need to somehow send them a copy of your new ppc receipt and receipt on the tomtom purchase. quickest way is via fax or if you could scan them you may be able to email them. i either faxed them from or scanned and mailed them (can't remember). i didn't have to send them the software receipt though because all my purchases were directly from tomtom and they were able to look it up. if you don't have access to a fax machine i guess you can try an office store that offers faxing. it's probably the quickest way to get them to help. |

Well I posted what they wanted again for the second time. How long does it take to get the activation code. |
