I am using an iPAQ1940 running Tomtom 3 and a BT77 GPS connected via Bluetooth. Almost all the time the position on the PDA (satellite position) LAGS my actual position by arouind 300 yards.

Is this normal for this type of arrangement or is there something I can do to "calibrate" the system?

As is, it is just about sueless as a navigation tool when most of the time I have gone past the turning before it tells me to turn! Worse, I've also gone past the "cameras" before I'm told they are there!

Sorry, should have said. I am using NMEA 0183v2 and have tried both 4800 connection speed and the Bluetooth.

I am using a "Kingston" 256Mb SD card. On the back it says "GH0453035cH0501Pa".

I did a full format prior to installing the maps onto it.

The Tomtom program is installed on the PDA memory.
