Problems with iNS 2.0 on iPAQ 3950

Having recently bought iNS 2.0 from Dabs, I have had many problems. For a short period it worked OK, but now when I put either the iPAQ into the jacket or the CF card into the jacket I get a message 'Unrecognized card - Enter the name of the device driver for the card. For information, see the manufacturer's documentation', then a text box with 'Storage Card in Socket 1' in it.

I am currently running with the CF card removed from the jacket and using CoPilot / maps downloaded from my desktop - but with very small areas of maps due to internal memory restrictions. :

Has anyone else suffered this?

HP has suggested a BIOS upgrade - believe I have 1.00.00 and 1.11 is latest (?) which I haven't been able to do yet but I'm not hopeful given that it worked OK before. 8O Their next suggestion is to format the card, which given I can't see the card - could be difficult!
