Can anyone tell me if the 'System' folder can be modified so that TT will connect to my Altina BT GPS, TT searches and searches and will not pick up the BT at all...
If I try the Altina BT GPS with my friends 6600 running R66, it works a treat...
Anyone any ideas...

BTW I have the unit paired and connected OK... No other settings to make the TT SW see the unit..
PS Nice Forum ;) |

You are not really talking about the TomTom Go, right? That one doesn;t have or need BT since it has a built in antenna. What setup do you have then? TomTom Mobile? _________________ Lutz

Sorry ;) I bought Tomtom mobile, from a friend (Original) who had his TomTom BT GPS unit stolen from his dash But the 7610 I have will not look at the Altina GPS Unit I have... I have heard that Tomtom will not work with any other BT GPS other than the Tomtom original... So I was wondering if the System\Apps folder in the Nokia MMC can be modified so that TTM will work with it...
As I said the Altina 708 BT GPS works great with my R66 but won't 'pair' with TTM

You need to use TT Mobile Traffic version to be able to use different BT receivers with the Windows Smartphones. I am not sure if this also helps with Nokia (Symbian) Smartphones _________________ Lutz
