Can the Medion Navigator 4 (v 4.2) be installaed and ran on another PDA?
I have a new E-Ten PDA/Phone and have installed the mapping software and have the correct GPS Rx unit (RGM2000) an the correct cable to plug into the bottom connection of the E-Ten (Comm 1) but I cannot Rx any signals - I have tested the GPS Rx with the Medion PDA and it works fine. I have the settings as: Standard GPS - COM1: - 4800
Does this software only work with Medion PDA Units or am I missing something. Any help would be greatley appreciated.

Hello Mark
I presume that you have the medion navigator gps software on your new PDA, if you start it, then look on the Settings tab for GPS across the top, then tap the Com-Port tab, look at all the available selections, just try each one, tap save after selecting each one, if the sat box at the bottom turns brown, then it has found the gps receiver, it should then turn green when it finds some sats.
If none of them work, then on the same GPS tab, try changing Type of Receiver to Other receiver, and again try changing the Com-Port settings, you must tap the save tab after selecting different settings for them to work. |

Once again thanks for your response...
I have tried all combinations of the settings and...nothing.
I am going to talk to the supplier as the PDA may be faulty. I do have the option to use a BT Rx...what would you recommend..BT or Cable connection and if BT would you have a preference to the make of unit.
Regards
