You appear to have two problems, your BT GPS connectivity & the Map data, which indicates that you may not be running a legal copy of the software, fogive me if you are.
If you are using the TomTom BT GPS receiver then there should be no problems with it connecting, none TomTom BT GPS units do work, but there's a special way of connecting, that is detailed elsewhere in the forum.
In terms of copying the map data from a standard SD card to a new Mini SD its just a straight copy, no new directories or renaming is required, why are you trying to rename the directory to 'maps' etc etc?
One important point, you need to have installed the latest Traffic Update available from the TomTom WEB site for it to work with your C500.
If you have a legal copy the GPS will work, and a straight copy of the SD card 'as is' works perfectly. |
