Permanent mount ?

Anyone know of a permanent mounting device for this unit? Preferablely vent mount.

I don't like the windshield mount simply because of the long reach and obstructed vision, so I made an easy and free dash-top mount:

Cut out a piece of CD jewel-case (I cut out a rectangle with rounded corners) and finish/sand the edges for a nice look. Be careful not to scratch the surface. Then attach velcro to one side and to your dash. The windshield mount suction cup adheres very well - mine has stuck for a week in frigid weather. You can obviously move it from car to car, it doesn't obstruct your vent or vision, and is dirt cheap.
