Can anybody help?
I have had to reinstall TomTom Nav 3 on my new Mitac Mio and now it wont start at all! The TomTomWizard and the GPS programs will work OK but Nav3 itself won't!
Anybody any ideas? Sad |

Hi
I cleaned the laptop registry and removed the tomtom setup entry. This then required me to enter my product code again.
I didn't clean the mio registry...can you do that?!

yes you can if theres nothing really important on the mio that you can afford to loose then try a hard reset its extreme but should work _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

OK, I'll give it a go.
However...brand new to this game....what's a hard reset as opposed to a soft one?! I know the soft one is to press the reset button...but....??? |

With the hard reset you wipe the Pocket PC clean - as if coming from the factory. Consult the handbook on how to do a hard reset on your machine - this is different from device to device ( and it most of the times assumes you can press five buttons at the same time while standing on your head and wiggeling with your tongue). Basically, it's made complicated so you don't do it by accident. _________________ Lutz
