Tom Tom Navigator HP Edition

I would be obliged to revieve advice on how (if possible) to use the the saftey camera database with Tom Tom navigator HP Edition.

The HP system is using the new NavCore engine like the Palm and GO uses, so I believe you just need to follow the TomTom GO instructions. Basically copying the OV2 and BMP files into the map directory on the storage card, and you can then go into the menu in TomTom Navigator and go into setup the warning notification and manage the POI.

Yep - Dave is spot on. I've got the HP/TomTom kit, done it and it works fine - you can assign alert sounds easily too.

One tip - if you want to be alerted to the cameras with a sound, ensure you don't choose 'only alert on route' (or something like that). Else it will only alert if you are following a planned route, NOT if you just have it on with no route set. Downside is that if the speed camera is say 100M down a side road you will get alerted to this too.
