Bought a Quest from MNC Group as they were advertised on their web site as " in stock". :D Except they had no stock but still took my money. Crying or Very sad Finally delievered after two months, over-charged me, the 'free offer' of a 12v car supply lead only appeared after I emailed them about a dozen times but still haven;t had a refund even though they accept they over-charged me. :x Contact with them is by email only - they don't accept phone calls Exclamation - and they're on-line support is anonymous (so you can't contact them or complain about them), doesn't seem to speak English as a first language Twisted Evil and gets rude when the going gets tough. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

They're cheap but don't bank on them having stock or providing a reasonable support service. Remember - cheap doesn't mean good value. Sad

9/10 for the Garmin quest; 2/10 for MNC

One year on and it seems like MNC Group are still up to their same tactics. I had a friend a year ago who ordered from them and regretted it because they charged their credit card when the item was out of stock (although they said it was instock), took 2 months to get the goods to the customer and they were panicing because it was an Xmas present and they had to fight for it to get it. MNC's excuse was the product had gone end of life, and the customer had to fight for a refund or an upgrade (they eventually received the next model up without having to pay the difference).

If others are ordering from MNCGroup, beware as they seem to be still up to their same tactics. UK companies should not bill your credit card until the day of despatch!

Is the issue of not being charged until the goods are despatched a law, a guideline or custom and practice? Having ordered much stuff over the Internet for Christmas many e-retailers seem to charge before goods are shipped. Confused
