| hi all, i am not sure if i am losing it, but do any others out there find they are talking back to jane on their TTG, I find my wife doing it as well, such as "give it a rest woman" :D and "alright, i heard you first time"........................... is it just me? |

On a business trip through Milton Keynes yesterday, it felt like I had gone round every roundabout ever built there, and I thought Jane was never going to shut up!...having said that she got me to the front door of the office I was visiting, unlike my 'non-GPS' colleagues who were struggling with multi-map printouts on the passenger seat... |

One thing you Can do with "Jane" is turn her off. You Can't turn the "mother-in-law" off, when she's Back Seat Driving".
I wonder if that could be put on MY wish list.

Well, when I first 'tested' the voices I found Jane's to be very infuriating, and have always used 'Tim'.
Friends with TT-GO assure me that there a fewer mis-directions when following 'Tim' rather than 'Jane'  ; something to do with being female, I'm told :P

Sometimes, after Jane's navigated me through what seems like a labyrinth of mazes and getting me to my destination (without feeling angry with my wife for making me take wrong turns or missing my exits on the M25), I've actually said :"Thank you" to Jane  |

Since having my TTG stolen on Sunday, me and my girlfriend have been mourning the loss of 'Jane'. Always 'she/her', and never 'it.'
One of my mates yesterday even said he was sorry for shouting at Jane last time he saw her. 
I had actually wondered if it was because we're all Mac users and get used to our friendly machines...  |
