Syncing POI's on different maps

As the title suggests is there anyway I can get POI to sync between different map overlays at the same time?

I want to use a smaller South East GB map so that TT3 and traffic updates all run quicker as I'm rarely out of the SE anyway but is there anyway my CheckPoint POI's can be updated on both maps or do I have to choose one...

After you synched you can copy the "fresh" POIs from one map directory to another. But there is currently no way to hold "global" POIs.
