Hi,

Just a couple of questions for all of you experts.

I am getting a HTC Blue Angel (aka SPV M2000, XDA3 etc!) I am looking to get GPS.

Is there any one GPS software or hardware which is miles better than the rest?

The setup I am thinking is. The SPV M2000 with Bluetooth. I have a phone, music & intercom system on my bike. I have just bought a peli 1060 case which will mount on my handlebars. I am waiting for the bluetooth to connect sound and voice to my communication system. (www.starcom1.com) this will be another few months!

Will the receiver work if I place it on the left glove box, It has a cover made of plastic not very thick but will it pick up signal, also I have heard that GPS loses signal when the bike leans, is this true?

I have will have power in the peli case and the glovebox so after that it should all connect via bluetooth.

Any advice would be welcomed.

Thanks

Rob

No. Enjoy the selection phase (also known as agony)

A piece of plastic is no problem. Nowadays the receivers are sensitive enough not to lose the signal as soon as the antenna tilts. You may want to get a receiver with XTrac V2 to be on the safe side.
