Unknown card in socket 2 (Navman 3450)

hi. i had just used my navman 3450 on my ipaq 3955 using destinator 3 yesterday and everything was fine until this afternoon when i placed it back. the ipaq says "Unknown card in socket 2" and tried to type "navman" which i had used before and worked but now it can's solve the problem. i already tried soft reseting the ipaq with and without the navman but still the problem exist. in destinator, it will load the map but at the gps setting it show, " com port busy", tried to find gps or set gps but can't fix it. what could be wrong and how to fix it? thanks.

Have you maybe accidentially uninstalled the jacket driver? Anyway, try to reinstall it and see if that helps.

you're right. i had inadvertently uninstalled the smartst v2 software and that's when everything went crazy. i had already reinstalled it and back to normal. since V2 has so many problem like no main route Route 22 at Myrtle area in North Carolina, US and it just disappointed me. so i am using destinator 3 as my navigator. not very good on visual and 3d but very good in address search. thanks for the post.
