Newbie needs help with BT-308

I have recently been given a BT-308 to go with my Ipaq5500, but can't seem to get it to work.

I can make a connection from my PDA - but nothing further - and that even drops out after 2.5 minutes.

Using the GPSinfo software - I don't see anything. I'm an absolute 'newbie' at this. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Have you paired the GPS in the Bluetooth Manager ? You need to do this first. The passkey should be 2003.

Yes I had done that, but no response until tonight. I can't believe it - all working so easily.
I had been trying to scan for a port - but getting nowhere. Tonight I selected a port (obviously the right one) and hey presto - all systems go.
