What do I need?

Hi guys

I've got an ipaq 3630 and I'm wondering what I need equipment/software wise to set up a basic car sat nav system. I'm finding the whole scene slightly confusing, trying to suss out the components needed.

If anyone has the odd recommendation I'd be very grateful.

you need

- a serial GPS receiver with a connector for the 36xx/37xx series or with RJ11 and adapter.
- some kind of storage device, for example a CF Jacket with CF card
- a PDA holder/Mount (preferably a powered one)

You can power the iPAQ either from the cable that comes with the receiver, or from the powered mount..

Instead of the mount you can also use an old iPAQ cradle, but that requires some DIY.
