Hi Everyone

I haven't a clue about GPS but really could use one in my car I'm thinking of bidding on this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5725393637&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

Does anyone have any comments such as, 'you gotta be kidding' or perhaps 'go for it'??? The guy selling it says he paid £375 for it about 8 weeks ago from someone called Uncle Sams.

Is the Dell Axim OK and what else should I be asking the vendor?

Cheers

Dell Axims OK, reasonable price including PDA, software and GPS, if stays below £300. Note this is wired, not Bluetooth, I personally prefer wired but many others don't, can't speak about Tom Tom personally but many many sales and users

The std Axim x5 only has 32MB memory plus 32MB flash ROM so personally I wouldn't go for that model. The x3 or x30 has 64MB

On the plus side it has dual slots (CF and SD) but no Bluetooth.

The performance version on the other hand has 64MB memory and a 400MHz processor (as opposed to 300MHz on the std) but still no Bluetooth.

Worth bearing in mind.

Thanks for the input chaps. Finally settled on BT with an IPAQ 1940. No doubt will be back with a million questions when it arrives Rolling Eyes
